Melissa Farrell, owner of joseph’s cottage, moved to Port St. Joe in 2000 and opened her store in the spring of 2002. She has an education in Fine Arts & Art Education and worked as a photo stylist during the 1990’s.

After opening joseph’s cottage, decorating became a passion. Melissa says, “I love using different textures and natural materials, and finding one-of–a-kind pieces for a 'collected' look.”
